Ammar A. Aker - Chairman of VTEL MEA
Mr. Aker is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of VTEL Middle East and Africa (MEA). He is also the CEO of Palestine Telecom Group and a member of Paltel Group’s Board of Directors. Prior to assuming his current position, he was the CEO of the Palestine Cellular Communications Co. Ltd, Jawwal-the first private leading cellular operator in Palestine. As the CEO of Jawwal, he led Jawwal's efforts in maintaining the largest market share, surpassing the two million subscriber threshold, despite encountering numerous operational challenges in the Palestinian market.
He is a member of the Board of Palestine Development and Investment Company (PADICO Holding), the largest investment holding company in the country, in addition to his membership of its Executive Management Committee. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Jericho Gate Investment, a project of PADICO Holding.
Mr. Aker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and an MSc degree in Accounting from Kent State University, Ohio.

Ms. Sumaya Hind - Group Chief Financail Officer
Ms. Hind has over 15 years of operational experience in finance and management. Between 2000 and January 2012, she worked in Jawwal, during the last 6 years of which, Ms. Hind assumed Executive position as the Finance Director, she helped with the rest of the management team boost the company's performance to one of the highest best performance ever. Prior to joining Jawwal, Ms. Hind worked in different fields and positions in Palestine; private sector, NGOs, academic institutions and governmental entities. Ms. Hind holds B.A. in Economics and Accounting from University of Jordan and Masters in Business Administration from Keele University/ England and recently, she became certified as a “Valuation Analyst” from IACVA/ Canada.
